At first blush, defense contractors may not seem like good businesses. They sell complex products that use edge technology, often at deflating unit prices, to a single buyer that has rapidly changing needs and minimal budgetary visibility. But if you think the defense contractors are bad businesses, you’d be wrong. Defense has been one of the best performing industries of the last fifty years.
